Hi, Hello, Welcome!

LETTERING | BRANDING | ILLUSTRATION
My name is Jay Lintag, I am a Toronto based, third year Graphic Design student currently studying in the York/Sheridan Joint Programme in Design. As a growing design student, I currently find the most interest in lettering, branding, creating illustrations and simply participating in design sprints or brainstorming. When I am not caved inside my studio, you can usually find me drawing for fun, taking photos of interesting things, or having fellowship with close friends and family.

Below is a compilation of work that I most enjoy creating.

DRYBONES-01

DRY BONES VALLEY

Dry Bones Valley, a fully hand lettered type project created for school. The project outline required students to create a meaningful composition of typography using scripture, poems, lyrics, etc. for inspirational content. This project teaches students to see the beauty and power of typographic elements while allowing students to explore and embrace their typographic voice...

Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, ‘Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life. I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord.’” — Ezekiel 37:4-6

Zēno is a smart fidget toy that tracks and displays data on the fidgets you make through the smart toy. When paired with the mobile app users gain the ability to visualize data to better understand when, where or what could possibly be stressing them out. Zēno’s main purpose is to ease the user away from stressful environments allowing them to take a quick break, or simply to take a step away before re-entering a stressful environment. Zēno’s objective is to help manage a healthy level of stress rather than letting it build up to the point of discouraging users towards reaching their goals.
