DRY BONES VALLEY
Dry Bones Valley, a fully hand lettered type project created for school. The project outline required students to create a meaningful composition of typography using scripture, poems, lyrics, etc. for inspirational content. This project teaches students to see the beauty and power of typographic elements while allowing students to explore and embrace their typographic voice. Dry Bones Valley is a beautiful scripture found in the book of Ezekiel and is filled with tons of imagery throughout. Although using illustrations may seem like a better choice, combining illustrations with typographic elements helps construct new ways to change a story into an exhibition of typographic pieces in each and every word.

This is what was first envisioned before deciding that the meaning of the text was to bring life and not death, therefore colour was added to pop more life into the piece.
